Who’s That Hippie?
It’s me! It’s me!
I’ve been called a hippie among other things. So what? Does that make me a stereotype? I’m a yogi, traveler, and outdoor enthusiast. I speak my truth and I do what makes the most sense for me. I don’t try to live by anyone else’s version of “normal” because in this day and age, that seems like insanity.
I’m an animal lover, and as such, I eat mainly a vegan diet.
I’m a yogi, and that means that I do more than stretch. I see the best in others and in myself. I’m taking it up a notch and getting certified as a teacher this year, so I’ll be spreading this yoga love around very soon.
I believe that peace is possible in relationships and in the world. I feel like if we all did a little more work on figuring out who we were at the deepest core of our selves, then we would no longer be at odds with one another.
I’m a writer and I do my best to spread good energy with my words.
Most importantly, I am. I strive to be concious in every moment. I attempt to be aware of my being. All we have is this moment, and I try to escape the incessant thoughts that capture my mind in order to exist right now, in whatever situation this beautiful and strange universe puts me in.
Does that all make me a hippie? I’m okay with that then. I’m really glad you’re here to check out my hippie adventures, foods, and ramblings. Thanks for stopping by!
Namaste.
Corinne
